Bono prompted cheers when he praised the queen for her historic
trip to Ireland last year -- the first time a British monarch had
visited the country since 1911.
Telling her she had made "extraordinary magic" during the visit,
Bono praised the queen for speaking Gaelic during a speech at
Dublin Castle. "I can't even speak Gaelic," the Irish musician
Collins said she was a "great admirer" of the queen, adding: "I
always want to know what she keeps in the handbag".
The queen spoke with "Frost/Nixon" actor Michael Sheen about his
football skills and posed for a special photo with 20 dames from
the arts, including fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, singer
Shirley Bassey and actress Judi Dench.
Artist David Hockney and models Agyness Deyn and Lily Cole were
also in attendance.
